It would only be inevitable if it was inevitable.

In times likes these it's easy to forget what KLD has done for the club.

Defoe is just one example, he persuaded him to play in L1 against Cheltenham ...

... I'll give him quite some leeway.

I do think the media have been out of the loop for news regarding us. Scott Wilson was saying johnson is here for deadline day and nowt about defoe.

Again, I agree I'm just frustrated by it all. Friday night was the best I've felt about this club in a LONG time. Defoe was signed, Keane pretty much told us all he was coming, we had an easy 3 pts in the bag on Saturday with a new manager to follow

Now, I'm fully expecting a defeat tonight and for those clowns in charge to pick the same ****ing team

    It's pathetic mate ...

... there's frustration, then there's hateful unjustifiable spite.

It's another example of the 'me me me now now now' society we've become.

  6. Spot on,it is embarrassing, none of them speak for me. It never fails to amaze how quickly the lunatics take over the asylum over there.

Rio Ferdinand has been saying he'd "Love to see Keane go to Sunderland". Also said that he needs to change he "approach" as young footballers and "wired" differently these days.

Basically ranting and raving probably won't work anymore.

How often do we grit and gnash our teeth about Sunderland... worn down to the gums?

Think that’s my concern and the reason I’m on the fence about it. Hopefully he’s learned (if it is him) and can take thus correctly.

  15. If it is him,he's an intelligent man and he's still mostly been around the game in one capacity or another since he left us before. He'll be aware of the approach to take to get the best out of these players, even though we wouldn't want him to change character completely. The fiery Roy,metaphorically putting his boot into a few backsides won't go amiss.

I think a balance is needed. A softly softly approach isn't going to help but neither is going ballistic - Keano or any manager has to choose their moments to exert pressure.

I would assume that any manager will be named tomorrow. Naming one now before the game would be a huge distraction. Personally Thursday last week should have been the day we had a new one in but our incapability not to shoot ourselves in the foot has always been our downfall.

You say "should" but we don't know what obstacles exist in terms of bringing the right man in.

As I've posted previously if McCann had been willing to start last week, but Keane said wait until after the weekend and my ITV duties then who would you have appointed?

Would it not be a positive distraction?

Everyones half expecting another **** performance and a defeat. Keane announced and watching on in the stands could be a boost we all need?
