It's an odd one, because as I understand it, the accusers fully consented to sex. They complained after the event when they found out he'd taken the condom off during the act.

I think some say they did, some didn't. I agree that it's not the thing to do, but it does put a different light on the allegations, as the sex was consensual, and it's not clear if the 'conditional to condoms' was agreed before hand. It's a while since I read it, but I think had it been elsewhere it's not rape, but Sweden has different rules. Mind, they changed some of those so that the increase in sexual assaults and rapes due to migrants didn't stand out, so they have selective morals too.

I think a main point is, it was **** all to do with Starmer, who seemed to be more interested in protecting himself and the party from more leaks,so his morals are suspect too.

I identify as a someone that can talk to cars, and my car has told me it shifts between identifying as a bus, bike, pedestrian, vintage car or emergency vehicle, which means I'm pretty much exempt from traffic fines.

Aye, but at least they have more options to arrest people they don't like now. It used to just be limited to inventing some Section 5 issue and hoping they didn't contest it, now they can claim they were thinking something bad, or thinking about committing a public order offence.

I think the current 'rules' discourage people that would make good Police Officers from joining, and encourage the sort of tossers that make bad Police Officers because they think it makes them special to join.

I don't know if they're still the same, and I'm sure a google would quickly find exceptions, but in my experience Manchester plod have the attitude about right. Their policy is basically to treat everyone with civility and respect, until they step out of line, at which point they come down like a tonne of bricks.
