I think he'll play Targett. He should slot in without much issue. I get it might be a bit quick to start Bruno in the middle of the park but this 'period of transition' needs to be pretty fkin short. I'm hoping he gets at least some decent mins under his belt.
Already very nervous for this one, i would take 4 points from these two home games. 6 would be amazing.
A loss isn't the end of the world either...im not pinning too much importance on it.. Its just 1 of 17
Personally think this is a massive game. These home games are huge. We need to build a bit of momentum. Regardless though it could be worse. We could be Derby County…desperately needing Mike Ashley. Poor feckers.
What? It's really important. A loss would be terrible, not just for morale but also the gap it will present to Everton. A draw? Maybe. But a defeat would be totally gutting. Especially if the new boys do feature in it. A win would be huge!
Also Burnley and Watford both play tomorrow too, so it could be a huge night either way depending on how all the results go.
Yes a win would be huge but it's not must win. I'm just not doing this never ending over stating of importance on winning one game. I've heard fans saying we're down if we lose this game since Watford away never mind the Watford home game before Christmas. We didn't win either but we're far from down We need to be better than 3 teams come may.
We need to start winning games. There are only 17 remaining. It’s no good waiting for the ride to turn or you end up desperado. Let’s just ****ing win this one and get the ball rolling. We had one anti climax with Woods debut, and looking how the fans reacted, we could do without a repeat. Despite them hoping for some bounce with Lampard I reckon we might get going.
Jesus wept man. At some point a game becomes a must win game and a lot of us think this is it. Self righteousness goes out the window. A mirror helps when you look in it.
I agree a win would elevate us to 17th, but I think every game is the next most important game in our history.
Isn't the 'next game being the most important in our history' an oxymoron? If not, then I also agree!
