Are you saying that the same type of behavioural psychological approach has lead to the conclusions about climate change?

Interesting stuff on climate which is noticeable by the average bod - records show that flowers and blossom are now appearing a month earlier than they were in the mid C18th through to mid 1980s. The point is that late frosts could kill them off - hence no fruit - and there's the potential for a mismatch with plants > insects > animals.

"There are many uncertainties in our predictions
particularly with regard to the timing, magnitude and
regional pattems of climate change, especially changes
    in precipitation.
    - These uncertainties are due to our incomplete
understanding of sources and sinks of greenhouse
gases and the responses of clouds, oceans and polar ice
sheets to a change of the radiative forcing caused by
    increasing greenhouse gas concentrations.
    - These processes are already partially understood,
and we are confident that the uncertainties can be
reduced by further research. However, the complexity
of the system means that we cannot rule out surprises."

    From the IPCC overview 1990.

I've gone back that far because the Climate Scientists quoted in the Guardian were extremely dismissive of any question that their models might include guesswork.

    https://www.ipcc.ch/site/assets/uploads/2018/05/ipcc_90_92_assessments_far_overview.pdf

Originally these were actual reports but have become more and more about grabbing headlines, predicting doom and hating humanity.

You will of course read that models are accurate, that they predict past climate accurately because, if they don't, they adjust the data or update the model.

Too many people blindly believe what the media tell them without digging further down into the actual science.
It used to be good to be skeptical, in fact, all scientists should be skeptics, but now if you don't believe the climaye doctrine you're a denier or a conspiracy theorist.
    It's become a religion.

We were told to drive diesel
More MPG less carbon dioxide emissions and cheaper price per gall
    Win win
Now diesel more expensive and high pollution still good MPG

Electric is a load of crap and the wrong way to tackle climate change as the future will prove

we should be doing something about the really big polluters to solve this

Who would you say are the really big polluters?

I quite like the look of some electric cars I just can't figure out how I could charge one when I needed to.

Ah so countries rather than types of industries or activities. I guess this way only those three countries need to do anything then?

So why should India and China reduce emissions when per capita they produce much less than others?

So what you are saying is every country should breed like rabbits no sorry like mice then our emissions per capita would fall drastically job done

No, I was being "Devils Advocate" that is the argument that is put forward to justify allowing China and India to continue increasing emissions. No excuse at all for the USA though
