The female plod had to translate what her colleague was trying to say, because his English was almost intelligible.

Not that long ago, if that was football fans, there would have been mad swinging with batons, followed by a Section 5 charge. The growth of camera's has really ****ed up plods ability to bully, and they're left looking impotent, and you can see that stings, as they joined to be 'important'.

 

I thought the journalist did well to ask Sir Rodney some very important questions.

It's appalling the way Assange has been treated on British soil, was Starmer involved in his persecution as well as covering up Sir Jimmy's *****philia ?

The thing plod seem to forget is that they're not Sherlock Holmes, solving crime with their amazing powers of deduction, they need the public to tell them what happened and who did it. The more they distance themselves from 'civilians' with their pompous 'do as I say cos I'm a copper' attitude, the less the public will be prepared to help them.

Respect has to be earned. It doesn't come for free with the funny costume and stab vest.

The protesters are getting more organised. I can see some Police finding themselves in the dock themselves, as they are not the law, nor above the law, they're simply there to uphold it.

It's worth thinking that it takes much longer to train a hairdresser than it does to train a copper, who for the most part are now reduced to being mobile bouncers.

That's not good for anyone.
