No way you'll go down. The season is terrible. Watford, Norwich and Burnley will drop. I have you finishing 15th above Brentford and Leeds.
Oh I agree I want premier league football but I can wait a few years if needed to progress. What's another year or 2 really for us Some of our fans seem to think their entire existence depends on staying up. It just doesn't.
I think he's part of phase 1 of the transition. By the time Newcastle become a global superpower he'll have served his purpose and at the level they'll be playing at, he won't be able to cut it. I'm going by City as a prime example of that. I think the idea any player joining Newcastle now, has that they're going to be part of the team fighting it out in the semi-final of a Champions League is wishful thinking. By then they'll have a wider market and the cream of the crop to bid from, and the likes of Guimarães will be shipped off to somewhere like Portsmouth.
I need to see a few games with the signings.. They seem safe solid players but you just never know and as an nufc fan it's a case of whens the next blow coming. You know the score slightly more of late anyway.
Think Watford and Burnley are for sure down, but it's between us and Norwich tbh. Everton will be fine, Leeds win games. If anyone above us and Norwich are going to be pulled into it, Brentford are the ones. They look ****e on almost every single level.
5 years is a long time in football, but I don't see him at Portsmouth Aye we could pull Leeds and Brentford back into it, but I agree everton will be fine.
They might not succeed in 10.. It depends.. If they get a few windows right you never know, but then again they could do an Everton.
Youre spending like Everton were doing on bang average players tbh not spending like City…pazzaz names and talent. so odds suggest you’ll just be expensive relegation candidates at best till you eventually go down
If you get Ashworth and give him complete control then you stand a chance of breaking the glass ceiling imo. Howe better get ready like, not that I think he’ll last anyway.
I think the position the club was in is why and I think they signed proven players which was wise. The summer will be different if we stay up that is.
He's done well at Brighton that's for sure.. I don't think relegation is out of the question though this season. No striker of any real Quality won't help.
