Again mate, couldn’t agree more with you. I mean if you look back at Bernard Mannings stuff…it was vile, hate filled ****……and I didn’t find it funny at all. But I guess it’s the way he delivered his stuff…..it seemed so filled with hate. I’m assuming Carrs Netflix show was an 18 rating.

Old joke.....two squaddies on patrol, and one steps on a landmine. Screaming, he yells out "I've lost my ****ing leg"....his mate then quips in.."No you haven't mate, it's over here!" Boom, boom - I'm here all week!
I’ve mentioned it before but if anyone is interested in the subject of taboo comedy they should watch a film called “The Last Laugh” which is all about if you can laugh at the Holocaust. Has a great piece in it where an Auschwitz survivor tells a joke about the crematorium…very funny but sad at the same time. Well worth watching
A holocaust victim gets to heaven and tells God a joke about the holocaust. God doesn't find it funny so the victim says 'Well, I guess you had to be there'.
We can all agree Lee Hurst is a comedy god and the Grimsby Community Hall is lucky to host him on the third Wednesday of every March.
