He may be right. But if he is, it will be the first time he has been. Anyone could write that guff, but most wouldn't be in the amazingly fortunate position of actually being paid for it.

And would mean Speakman’s interview on Saturday makes more sense if it was his way of telling Keane that you’ve not got us bent over a barrel mate
he just said on Saturday we were still going through a process. Which it seems like we are because Keane hasn’t committed yet. Basically all signs for me are pointing to us offering Keane a contract that he doesn’t think is good enough and is asking for more. He knows the fans want him. He knows KLD can afford him. And there’s a game of chicken. Hence us having back up interviews this week.

Hope you are right. Feels like it's drifting further and further away after some poster hinted an announcement was imminent on Friday (not dissing the ITKs here, they pass on the info they have at the time)
I think we all need to be ready for the fact that Keane might be turning us down if we can’t pay him what he wants. ITV and Sky pay him a bucket load. the club should not and will not write him a blank cheque. everyone is assuming this “delay” is the club ****ing him about. When it could very plausibly be the other way round. Not saying it is. Just that we need to cut them a bit of slack. the second interviews for the others are sensible on two counts. Firstly it gives us a back up option if keane doesn’t work out. Secondly it shows keane he isn’t getting a blank cheque.
If speakman has ****ed this up based I his data or what ever bollox he choses to spout then I hope every single fan let's them know exactly how they feel
