Good post. Genuinely believe we’d struggle for 15K at games next season if it’s a McCann type appointment and a play-off failure.
I stopped going for a few weeks just before the pandemic. A mixture of working away during the week and general apathy at watching **** football. I cannot guarantee that I will want to go and watch a Grant McCann team limp it's way to 5th in the league and defeat to Wycombe in the play off semi final 46 years old and being going to games for 38 years. Am close to having had enough of this ****
Think it might be that Keane has a few things he needs to tie up on his end maybe? RE TV job contracts or getting his people in place?
Yep, I hope the club realise how massive this appointment is. I fear the worst if it’s McCann or Neil. Would’ve been better off keeping Johnson IMO.
I agree totally with this Keane will have been contacted the weekend for his media spots and not wanted to pull out so I’m still upbeat that he’s on his way for now anyhow
He knows less than my budgie, and it died 37 years ago. If he is right, it is by copying someone else's guess. He is a typical, lazy, clickbait scribbler who likes to thought of as a journalist. The thought that he, and several others are grouped, by description anyway, together with the likes of Frank Keating, Ian Wooldridge and Hugh Maclevennay is as comical as you can get.
I agree. Neil needs a rest. Perfect time to introduce Mattete alongside Winny with Pritchard further advanced. Embleton has been poor of late, so 2 out of Dajaku, Clarke and Roberts to support Stewart.
I know there's no way he wouldn't have been seen but in the after show I thought it was odd when Danny mentions Roy Keane he looks up and points towards the concourse
I personally think top 2 has gone now, it relies too much on those around us tripping up badly and we all know there's only one club going to do that between now and the end of the season - us. I also think somethings up with the Keane appointment. Hope I am wrong on this as it is based on a gut feeling only. But I think it will turn to nothing.
