The series is produced by Tom Cruise's production company SkyDance I have watched it - I agree the lead is a better fit to the role as written in the books, but it lost some of the intellect I thought. Small quibble. Worth watching

I have mentioned here before, went sober for October and still not touched a drop Over 4 months - and (not in blue) I really don't miss it and feel so much better for it. I get up early, am more productive at work and have lost over a stone. Not changed any other habits (no more exercise or less food). I sleep better too.
