I'm up for it, can you get someone with a bigger helicopter?

The series is produced by Tom Cruise's production company SkyDance
I have watched it - I agree the lead is a better fit to the role as written in the books, but it lost some of the intellect I thought. Small quibble. Worth watching

A sobering thought, but of the 55 Prime Ministers that Great Britain, and later the UK, has had since Robert Walpole, 20 have been educated at Eaton College.

I'll give you that but I don't remember an Eton boy called Lapsang Souchong becoming Prime Minister.

And not to forget Arthur Wellesley, who had a promising career as a soldier before he went into politics.

This is extremely stupid, but also entertaining. An AI which will write a short story based on any two prompts you enter (and whatever information it can scrape about those topics off the Internet).

    https://narrative-device.herokuapp.com/createstory

Often it produces absolute tripe, like this:

Who could dream up something that unlikely?

But occasionally, it can get pretty profound:

I don't think I have your iron will, so I'll just go for cutting out alcohol on days without a 'y'

I’ve had no alcohol since the evening of December 14, when I had a couple of delicious pints of proper German lager in a pub in Manchester.

I don’t miss having an alcoholic drink at all ………. :emoticon-0101-sadsm

I can't remember when any alcohol last passed my lips. It was a long time ago.:emoticon-0101-sadsm

I have mentioned here before, went sober for October and still not touched a drop :)

Over 4 months - and (not in blue) I really don't miss it and feel so much better for it. I get up early, am more productive at work and have lost over a stone. Not changed any other habits (no more exercise or less food). I sleep better too.
