I'm in the dog house this morning. Had a couple of beers last night and had my superb noise cancelling Bose headphones on listening to some tunes. I'd let the dog out in the back yard and forgot all about it. Apparently the dog was barking to come in for about an hour and of course I couldn't hear it.

Dog ended up waking the neighbours up, who then phoned my missus which woke her up, she came down in a huff. I was like 'Hi Babe, listen to this tune' not aware of any of it.

Tried to tell her that I had the headphones on, so that the music wouldn't wake her up, but she weren't having any of it

    whoops <laugh>

Would any of you be interested in a ride in a helicopter for 4 people? I'm still looking for 2 more adults to join us. We leave early Saturday morning (February 12th) from Gatwick airport and will fly to the Isle of White where we will have breakfast, then have lunch on a yacht.
Then we’ll do a flight over the Coast, returning to the isle for dinner. If interested, please message me.
Preferably someone with a helicopter and yacht, otherwise we can't go...

Moved into my own gaff today. Just a friend’s place who needs to rent it out and I need a place until mine is sold so it’s not ‘mine’ per se but I’ve never lived alone so it’s nice. Just me, the dog when he’s here and that’s it unless I can fool a bird back for a bit of consensual non-Greenwood type action. Bliss.

Someone show me how to use an iron.

I am joking. Cleaner coming tomorrow.

Sorry to hear that mate. Let me know if you want any of my funeral jokes.

Edit- should have asked if it was someone close. Was it someone close? Hope it’s no one close. At least Bornmuff lost

Morning all ... school run and working from home today. Bit of a sore head from the rather nice Rioja which was some consolation after my footie team's abject display yesterday afternoon. <cheers>

Yeah was a close friend of 15 years or so. Hung himself a few weeks back leaving his kids behind :(

Who the **** has a funeral at 4pm btw. Not sure exactly I'm supposed to make that time without having a drink.

Tragically not that rare either for young men to take their own lives.

Biggest killer of men under 40 I believe. Beyond tragic and so so needless in this case.

Things always get better and there's always help available.

My friend blew his brains out with a shotgun around 8 years ago. He had two daughters aged 5 and 2.

Bloke was a lifeguard, marathon runner, had his own tree surgeon business, beautiful wife and two kids

None of it made any sense. Just shows you that some people are fighting terrible demons on the inside.

Oh god. Prefer the way Jews do it. Usually the next day and it’s done. Very low key.

Sorry to hear. Happens too much with our age group. I really wasn’t far off it at one point last year. Such a shame.
