Of course I want us to win every game, and that would mean we went up. I'm just not fussed if we don't.

Wouldn't complain if we did as would again be good exposure for the city and club (about the only thing I liked about it), but I always found it a bit of a chore watching us in that league for many reasons

Is the same happening at other clubs then? We should be seeing an uplift.

Most clubs don’t have an apathetic base of supporters who have been alienated for years due to toxic owners. The current economic situation isn’t the cause of our low attendances, but it will be a factor in how many returning supporters start to attend games again. Some will have to pick and choose which games in the month they get tickets for if they don’t already have memberships.

There were fewer City fans than for the Swansea game. You can dress it up all you like.

I think anyone who expected a massive increase in attendance within the first few weeks of Acun’s ownership were being unrealistic. It was always going to be staggered. The current economic climate with rising cost of living is just another spanner in the works. It will be interesting what plans Acun has to get more fans back in greater numbers.

Agree with this... its going to be a difficult time for football in general and in the months and seasons to come a few may go to the wall...

I think some have misunderstood and misrepresented the reasons why people stayed away. As has been pointed out and ignored many times, not all were down to the ownership.

Given both myself and my good lady have attended both Swansea and PNE, that amounts to £108, in just over a week, now we are fortunate ate that we can afford that, alas many aren't, I say again, in these times when choices have to be made to feed your family, and pay the household bills, not everyone can afford it. No matter how well we are doing. Hull isn't a prosperous City, perhaps its something to look at for the new owner, reduced entry prices for breadline families.

Sadly a lot of 'lost' fans will take some convincing to come back, they'll ha e found something else to do, or feel their money is best spent elsewhere. The only sure fire way of getting bums back on seats is having a successful team, and that will take time. It's been that way since the 70s

I get that Hull isn’t a prosperous City but neither is Sunderland and if all you say is true then where do we go from here? Looks like we’ll be stuck on 14k because the economy ain’t gonna improve for the foreseeable future.

So basically all this bullshit is if we do ok we have good crowds and if we do not so well they leave? And that’s why we’ll never achieve anything

Not arguing about it, we always have been a fickle bunch who support City, but the more success you have coupled with a positive attitude from those in charge will always bring an upsurge in numbers.

Baxter is statistically the best keeper in the league on chances prevented as in he’s kept the most out per 90

Maybe you should look at this
That’s if you’re intending on coming regularly

For a one-off payment, you can select the six matches you wish to attend as and when tickets for those fixtures are placed on sale.

    • A one-off payment of £144 for Adults (£24 per game)
    • Concession 6-Match Savers available from £36 (£6 per game)
    • Offers savings of up to £18 when compared to paying match-by-match
It’s easy to by a Saver online, choose the Saver you would like to buy, and then select the price band and quantity you wish to purchase and add to your basket. If you are purchasing more than one Saver, please make sure you add the name(s) of those you are purchasing for from your ‘friends & family’ links and proceed to checkout to purchase.

Alternatively, call 01482 505600 to buy over the phone using a credit or debit card, or buy in person from Tiger Leisure at the MKM Stadium with card and cash payments accepted.

Disabled supporters should call 01482 505600 to purchase a 6-Match Saver.
