They need to be as far away as possible from Cheltenham, a teamsheet and a pen on Tuesday night, honestly.

Yeah I thought we'd scrape past Doncaster with the momentum of the occasion yesterday and the big crowd. We won't have anyone in for the Cheltenham game but i can hope that we have the right man in by the end of the week. But after Speakmans bizarre interview yesterday, I'm not so sure

100% agree. I like Proc as a lad but to say he has done well to get to this position is an understatement.

Yeah, undoubtedly he's going to have a general coaching background to be in that position but given his day to day role possibly not the right person to step in.

Twenty years ago (to be honest, I think its more like 30) clubs had smaller numbers of people on the coaching staff so had fewer people to choose from.

I don't think its a case that anyone's forgotten that football is a simple game. I think because clubs put more effort into quality coaching and use shorthand terms to describe things, people assume that they're overcomplicating things.

They'd be as well letting Bally take the team ahead of Dodds, Proctor or Jevons

**** me, this club never fails to find a way to **** things up

This might have worked if he’d played the new lads instead of completely killing all of the buzz before kick off. Cretin

That is the most annoying thing - it was the obvious thing to do and would have masked their own managerial limitations.

I think we all probably got a bit carried away and assumed we would roll over Donny. Coming off a 6-0 player confidence is probably shot to bits. Looking back at the game that looked the case. They are young lads mostly, and probably need a leg up right now. I for one have been hard on them, probably too much. In experienced caretaker wouldnt have been a bad idea at all, someone to get the last result out of their system.

If we don’t then gawd knows who we will get.

Any idea what the thinking was behind Speakman wanting to do the interview pre game yesterday?

At the match, when then went off a half time, can you imagine the players faces when they go in to the dressing room if Keane was sat there , they would ****ing **** themselves. They will be dreading going to training tomorrow if he's announced today

What did you make of Speakman's interview pre-game yesterday marra, if you've seen it!

Glad you've said about pen to paper. I'm still raging from everything that took place yesterday and the Head Coach role/Keane needs sorting ASAP

My thoughts entirely , it was frightening as I said on an earlier post that both teams were so out of balance it was untrue with Cirkin getting so much space it was crying out for a winger to exploit the situation . It must have dawned on him at half time or perhaps someone told him what to do - too late , by then we were 2-0 down and chasing the game and the other substitutes should also have been made earlier . Let the senior players pick the team and give instructions their experience should be utilised it can’t be any worse than the lack of reaction yesterday , the fans knew what was needed but MR DODDS sat on his hands till the game was lost .

I've supported this club for 40 years now and I thought I'd seen it all. These last 8 days have been a joke. I had a feeling in my gut that we'd lose yesterday...simply because of the fact we'd allowed ourselves to get excited I've Defoe and Keane.

I'm usually optimistic to the point of delusion but I have real concerns over Speakmann and the recruitment. As it stands we have 4 fit defenders, one of whine no one seems to trust. I know Flanagan was ****e, but isn't having someone who is ****e better than having no one?
