To be fair to him he didnt play the last 16 games for preston because he fell out with Phil Brown!

He then went to train with Everton n they wanted to sign him but the chairman wouldnt sanction the deal!

We benefitted massively because he is miles better than Kasper and arguably the best keeper we have had since Nigel Martyn

Actually, the main sports writer for Peterborough Today, one 'Swanny', is an absolute cockend. Look at what he's written in the past about us:

Yeah, the Leeds fans never sang 'Marching on Together', 'We are Leeds' or any of the old pro-Leeds classics at London Road that season, did they? For 90 whole minutes, they entirely devoted their attentions to your wife-beating **** of a manager. Don't think so. He doesn't deserve it. And Elland Road a slum? It's two and a half times the size of your tiny little stadium and has two and a half thousand times the fame, character and memories. Go **** your face.

And what he wrote this weekend:

Yeah, we're really sorry for going mental for a late goal Alan. It won't happen again, we'll just politely applaud in the future. <doh>

YOUR DAD'S A **** AND SO ARE YOU. HAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHA.

Away fans having the cheek to stand up, eh 'Swanny'? Who'd have thought it? I hope you're in favour of stewards forcibly getting Boro fans to sit down on their away trips too and not allow them to create an atmosphere.

Adrian Durham's also a Peterborough fan. For such an insignificant club, they really do have some cocky little Leeds-hating twats hanging around the place.

Swanny is a knob and a complete useless sports writer, most of us in Peterborough know that. I would have gone mad had we scored in the last minute, what fan wouldn't, I went mad when we equalised so its just the same. Please don't think all of us from Peterborough are the same as Swanny.

Their chairman Darragh McAnthony's now being a prick too:

Well "the manager" is an idiot then, isn't he? And what's with this insistence on the sarcastic 'mighty' Leeds? You'd hope for a bit of dignity in defeat.

Hard to have dignity after being mugged. But alas we will live to fight another day, we'll still be here next season, and I suspect so will you.:emoticon-0105-wink:

    Hear, hear Mr Chairman.

I wouldn't swap one Leeds player for the entire Peterborough squad.

In regards to the Leeds standing comment - I was in the seated area, I would have liked to have sat down if it wouldn't have meant wrapping my legs around my neck and getting over friendly with the two people either side, who were the seats designed for 12 year olds? What a **** hole of a ground from top to bottom, sorry but it is, even Northampton Towns ground is better. Even the toilets, massive queue because the toilet was the size of a garden shed and had enough space for all of 4 people.

Half time and the spell just before they had a player sent off when trying to cheat and waste time while having someone treated on the sideline. ;)

You bloody idiot, Mugged (in football terms) would be the UEFA cup final in 74/75 when Bayern Munich cheated to win the cup. The referee that day Michel_Kitabdjian, never took charge of a game of that level again. Two quick points here :-

    i) The refereee posh v Leeds has not faced any neutral bad press or been hauled infront of the FA

ii) I would'nt worry too much about competitions like the UEFA cup, they are for big clubs.

Oh dear!... it seems that I have ruffled your fancy Peacock feathers somewhat, I've seen some black and white film of your glory year, but it was so old and grainy that I lost interest after seven seconds.
Keep the faith, I have every confidence that you will eventually have more good times in this digital age.<ok>
