Was going to pop out for a couple of pints this afternoon but Mrs luv warned me there was rugby on. Pissed me right off, just having a beer in the house instead.

I'm going away near the end of this year, seriously thinking about a weekend in Norway to see this ****, either on the way to or way back from somewhere hot.

My plan was Norway, Portugal, dam then back to London

But its gonna be either the northern lights or northern lights weed as doing them all is a **** show in terms of travel time as I've checked, Norway makes it awkward.

Would love to see the Northern lights. Would be an epic trip that up to Norway. My friend drove her van up there and busked with her Cello coz she wanted to see the Northern lights and the midnight sunset in the Artic Circle. She wrote a book about it too <ok>

Don't think it would be a cheap trip up there coz I think a pint costs something like £12, but I reckon if you planned it properly doing air bnb and didn't eat out all of the time, you could do it without breaking the bank

    Defo bucket list stuff

My kid went to Norway, sure he said it was expensive. It might have been there that he stayed in an ice hotel.

Those places look amazing. I dread to think what they cost, but if you can afford it, it would the experience of a lifetime. I can't tempt my missus to visit any of these Artic places as she ****ing hates the cold <laugh>

Well the flights are dirt cheap tbh

And i saw a hotel package for like 600, 2nights, one in the hotel and one in your own glass topped teepee, which you drive to on a ****ing snowmobile after a 20km ride through the snow and stuff<party>

    That looked really good.

My kid is pretty well off, so if he says something is expensive you can guarantee it is. I just can't remember if it was Norway, it could have been Iceland, I remember him telling me about this drinking game he played, something to do with spinning some wheel, anyway he won, and ended up with so much beer he was giving it away.

    Defo worth doing <ok>

You can get really cheap flights to Iceland too with Easy Jet. Somewhere else I'd like to go.

Was planning a trip with WOW airlines do to Reykjavik, and then on to San Francisco but I think they collapsed just before Covid.

Who's doing cheap flights to Norway bro ?

I only know that Norway is expensive from my friend's trip up there in her van. She busked for money to fund that trip en route and her first busk in Norway netted her what she thought was a ****ing fortune, until she went out to get some food that was <laugh>

I think he's done Norway and Iceland, that's why I can't remember which was the expensive one, much like Piskie said, probably £12 a pint.
