Shota should find out his starting team in the next month. Need to start getting the best out of our most dangerous players more which in my eyes is KLP Longman and Honeyman. All of whom were largely anonymous today bar the cross KLP put in for Eaves (criminal miss). KLP played wing back, striker and 10 today and we wonder why we aren’t getting the best out of him?!?
We got out championshipped today.. for me, our problem being midfield. It's alright having 4 strikers on the pitch, but you have to give them something... when Honeyman isn't at it, it seems that everyone else thinks its ok to drop a level too, the problem is they're not as good as he is when he's on it... Doc got better late in the game, but his decision making is really poor at times ... The space between Eaves (who worked his bollocks off, was unlucky not to bury a header) and the midfield was embarrassing at times, allowing them to pick passes at will. They're not a great side and the difference between them and us today was the lad Archer... But, in a way its good the reality check has come early and we can move on. Though I suspect the next starting 11 will be different. Great to see Alfie Jones back, we seemed to up a gear when he came on. The new lads.... lets wait and see... Lastly.... KLP needs resting...

It was never a criminal miss.... all you can do is hit the target with a diving header and the goalkeeper got lucky on another day you'd have been hailing the goal as brilliant. Watch the playback and see who bust a gut to actually get in a position to head it...FFS give the lad a break, he's run the line for games now.
Once Preston worked out that it was Eaves or nothing they just stuck 2 on him then they had more of the ball and used it better. First 20 mins I thought we where looking good. It’s a young team with a lot of promise. Won’t win them all. Let Shota have a look then let’s see where we go.
Eaves played well today doesn’t mean he shouldn’t have scored the header ffs. That should be his bread and butter i started celebrating as the ball was going in that’s how confident in him scoring I was. Definitely not the worst I’ve seen Eaves but he’s done himself no favours with the new recruits now in the picture.
