They will be filling the quota of inclusion, diversity and equality mate, probably have to include a woman, an alien, a gender neutral, a mountain goat, a homosexual, sol Campbell and a fully sex changed dwarf first

All about setting standards from whoever is in charge. The message they were set today was that last weekends performance has no consequence. Dodds could’ve changed the whole team today and not one of those involved last week could’ve argued.
It was gutless from the top down today as far as that team was concerned.

The players have to take their share of responsibility, they simply have to. They are on the pitch, playing poorly and making mistakes. The coaches are not the only influencer of results and performances. If they were they would earn significantly more than the players. These players need to sort themselves out, too many not winning the individual battle. They are easy to dominate. We need the new coach in soon to set the game plan, of course we do. And it is time Speakman got his act together and sorted it. He clearly hasnt got a list of replacememts in mind ad be should have done, in fact we are told KLD is driving the Keane choice. You can keep up with the name calling of Johnson as long as you want but he is gone. Apparently the players hated him but todays performance shows no upturn after they seemingly got their way and got rid of him. At some point we need ask whether this squad is as good as we are told it is.

    Fuming?

I'm currently sitting under the stairs with Mr Peroni and contemplating punching a hole in the plasterboard.

I'm trying to focus on Tuesday when I have half a dozen people around for the Cheltenham game ...

... thankfully it's only a few days before we get the chance to change the mood :emoticon-0130-devil

Mate, you talk a lot of sense, in general, one of the best posters, IMO. However, you've become completely wedded to the argument that it's all on the players, and only the players. Makes no sense. Presumably, in your opinion, the coaching staff and LJ are/were A1, but the players have let down this elite and unquestionable coaching setup? But, how do you reconcile that with the major slumps that have cost us this season and last? The players look like world beaters one game and Sunday league the next. That must be, if not a coaching failure, a motivation failure.

Today puts to bed this passing out from the back lark.

We can't do it and it invites pressure, if the keeper can't put his foot through the ball occasionally then he shouldnt be playing

Agree. But these are coaches and players brought in under his tenure. In sacking Johnson om Sunday he needed to have been able to have someone in quickly. Right now I think he looks to be on very thin ice. If it is Keane I would bet money it isnt Speakman pulling that parricular string. We are in danger of looking very disjointed in my opinion.

Can beat that mate! Wanted to go to the match but something held me back. Went out beforehand with the missus for a few pints and kept drinking watching. With that useless twat commentating earlier, I was ready to go to town on anything - especially him! This is my team and as much as it's **** at the minute, I really feel that it's gonna get better

It looked that way mate. I am in the Keane in camp by any means, but I will give him a chance to bring them down a peg or two if he gets it. He is going to need a couple of helpers though.
