the foxes should appoint Dave Jones, he is a very good manager and worked wonders with cardiff even though he had to sell his best players every season due to massive debts that cardiff occurred during the time they had with a certain chairman......good tactician and well respected, you could do a lot worse that's for sure....

Pugh has also already shown he can cut it in the Prem. (and before you say Keogh and Pugh aren't our players either, we've already agreed a fee for Pugh and the Wolves chairman has already admitted that both sides are interested in making the Keogh move permanent)

The fact is that despite all the money Leicester have spent I think they've spent it very poorly (and I said so before the season started) and our squad has improved in every single area from last season.

 

The only one I agree with is that Clayton is better than Danns. But Danns can't get into our squad.

Every other example you have chosen just isn't correct. You know, deep down, that when we have a manager that can organise our team then we'll be flying up the table. Such is the quality of our squad.

Go on then, explain why Konchesky and Abe are better than White and Snodgrass, two players I think would get into the Div 2 team of the season based on their performances so far.

 

I'd like to see him explain how he is somehow better at comparing 2 of our players to 2 of our ex players than we are.

 

I ignored the Abe - Snodgrass because they couldn't be any more different.

Koncheskey has been a solid and integral part of us being the 2nd best defence in the league this season. He's always consistently good and can pass, shoot, take free kicks, tackle, head and run. A quality left back.

 

Snodgrass has had the most assists so far this season in the Championship - with 8 so far. He'd walk into your team. When Beckford was at Leeds, Snoddy assisted so many of his goals.

White's been fantastic as well this season. Whilst I think Konchesky is a good player, I wouldn't take him over a younger, faster, improving player.

McCormack is, based on technical ability, a much better player than Beckford (even though I rate him as a goal scorer), Howson and Clayton are very talented, and Becchio/Keogh are two of the best 'targetman' type strikers in the league.

I don't actually think, given the investment Leicester have put in, that their squad is really any better than our cheaply put together squad.

Who in Leicester's squad stands out as being above Championship standard?

Leicester's squad is embarrassingly bad tbh considering how much they've spent on it, it's definitely worse than ours and we've spent about a 10th of the money they have. I'd take players like Wellens and King as squad players but Bamba is the only Leicester player I'd put in our starting 11. Konchesky's good at this level, but White's one of the outstanding young talents in the league (along with Lees and Clayton) who will only improve. I asked who stands out being above Championship standard. I think you've got some very capable players at Championship level, but I don't think your squad stands out really from the other promotion contenders. West Ham have easily the best squad - players like Nolan, Taylor, Cole etc. You're a contender for promotion, not a favourite.
