I'm really looking forward to this game. Maybe it's the way the Premier League has become too commercialised. Whilst I enjoy watching Saints against the likes of Liverpool and Chelsea, nothing beats the cut and thrust of a sudden death cup game whoever the opposition is. With Coventry selling out there allocation there will be a cracking atmosphere in the away end. We will have to work hard as fans to match it!
I see the Coventry keeper, Simon Moore, was released by Saints, when he was 12, owing to him being too small. He thinks they were being kind and used that as the reason to release him, rather than say he wasn’t good enough. Fair play to him to have made it to where he is now.
Me neither Can’t get it with google on my phone Last home tie was Shrews and that must have been without fans Before that????
Yeah, I forgot the match at their place was a replay. I remember that match because it was meant to my first visit to their new stadium, but couldn't go in the end. But I forgot there was the original match which proceeded it.
I remember the home game well as I paid for hospitality and I was sat right behind the directors box.
I can’t even work out the formation. Back 3 with Valery RCB? Back 4 with Livramento or Valery further forward? Back 4 with Livramento or Valery LB and Small further forward?
Looks back 5 to me with Valery at CB But I agree, it’s hard to tell what he’s thinking. Don’t know much about Coventrys squad but I thought they supposed to be pretty good? Be a real shame if we mess this up with United already out
Ralph did say that he had a lot of squad players needing game time. I didn’t expect him start them all though.
