No offense to frimpong, but I think I am more technical than him, but he is more powerful. He should have also said, I'm also 10x better than him. Agree?
I think they've got a different type of game. Coquelin is a mobile DM/CM who is also a good ball player. Frimpong is a powerfull tackling DM, who loves to break up play, he's also good carrying the ball forward. Time will tell who becomes the more effective player. But they both look like they've got good Arsenal careers ahead of them
don't think so. although a lot of people like him, i think ramsey is more creative in the final third. wilshere is more of a deep-lying/box-to-box mid and we need a more creative attacking player. DM Frimpong to add strength box to box Wilshere attacking mid ramsey
I see more in Frimpong than Coquelin but they offer different attributes. Coquelin has more energy and can go box to box, Frimpong is stronger and should be able to boss the midfield, this is what we are in urgent need of, a boss man.
Apparently Wenger doesn't see Coquelin as a DM any more, but more as an actual Midfielder. Interesting that. Means he can be deployed alongside Song or Frimpong for the tougher games as he has that DM experience but can link play as well.
Coquelin was decent today but he was still better then Frimpong. Who I thought was pretty bad today. Kept jumping in and and losing the ball. Also failed to make simple passes and at first glance looked like he should gave away a pen to Bolton. He was poor. Needs to spend less time on twitter and TV shows and focus on his game.
