Agree about Cooper. The other thing worth bearing in mind that it is normally the case that youngsters take some time to become regulars in the team. Inconsistency is the most common failure in kids breaking through, hence they are eased into the team. It's unusual for one to become a stalward in his first season, but we've had 2 - Struijk & Meslier, so double lucky, especially in the PL!

Disagree! LOL. I think he has a part to play. He seems to be a good captain, if you listen to the players. Invaluable attribute, & not found everywhere., so why chuck baby out with the bathwater? I also think he should be with us for as long as he wants, as long as he realises that he's going to be playing a fall-back CB (but not necessarily next season).
