I have a very good journalist friend. I've never posted in forums previously as I've seen the abuse that gets hurled. That looks like it's started, so I'm out for now. One thing I will add is expect an experienced pair of hands to come in too, although that maybe short term. There's also a bit of negotiation to do around backroom staff.
I think we have some savvy owners these days and, can believe they are capable of giving out conflicting info , to try to keep control of the narrative ..
People just don’t like what they consider negative posts mate, nothing to do with credibility. Sometimes the responses are banter and you can tell the difference between that and abuse. What we don't want is a repeat of what happened in the end last time. Get him moved up here, get good people around him who'll keep him right when he has one of his regular wobbles. He's got to be able to accept criticism this time as well. His problem was always thinking he was cleverer than everyone else. I do not want the old Keane back, I want a new improved version.
Hopefully that'll come with an assistant that will stand up to him and tell him he's wrong. Looking back I don't think his previous number 2 would've done that and if he did, more than likely Keane wouldn't have listened
