I wasn’t comparing us with THEM! As far as I know we have never spat at one of our managers. Although, I do recall Reid once getting a face full of booze. Totally unjustifiable.
Any need? It's been marketed as Defoe's homecoming and we've sold a load of extra tickets as a result. A lot of people are entitled arseholes. Is it really that much of a leap to suggest that there could be an issue for some if he doesn't play?
No announcement until next week according to Barnsey on tertle spert. The club have told him that apparently
Sounds like they interviewed him in Manchester https://www.thenorthernecho.co.uk/s...d-delegation-interviews-roy-keane-manchester/
My tuppence: Moyes got us relegated in 2017, and Coleman charged with getting us back in the prem managed instead to get us relegated to league 1 in 2018. Since then Ross, Parkinson, Grayson and Johnson have all failed to get us out of league one. That's a whole lot of managers and all failed one way or another. So, hard for me to argue against re-hiring the only coach in recent time who actually managed to get us promoted. (I wonder if Coleman put on his resume "got Sunderland out of the championship first time of asking )
I’ve got this, since I have a habit of making myself look stupid @Wheatsheaf you knucklehead, not as good as Barnsey or Scott Wilson. You need to retire now
After @Wheatsheaf messages earlier I've now lost all hope of it being announced tonight. I've been ready for hours. Tell me im wrong.
Interesting both Nick Barnes and Scott Wilson at roughly the same time have come out saying nothing until next week. Almost like a source at the club is telling them nothings decided yet because they want to prolong the feel good factor over a couple of games, rather than “waste” one of the homecomings by doubling up
He also said earlier he'd been told they weren't opening the concourse, and it's now been opened. Nick Barnes knows absolutely **** all. He might very well not be announced until Monday, but Nick Barnes wouldn't know.
I actually agree, and it makes more sense to hold talks in Manchester when he is on ITV there tonight…. Pretty much confirms ALS/Wee Phillie were talking pish
