He lives about 10 miles north of Peterborough, well he did last time I heard. Lad I know lives, or used to live, next door to him.

That's true. Keane will get a lot of time from the fans. I always felt that Johnson's lower profile counted against him to a large extent. People like Kisnorbo would always have a job on to win people over because he's "only coached in a **** league".

 

I just see unesseccary jargon as the work of a deeply insecure person.

 

I think most of us move on quickly. If we were 3rd in the premier League we'd be more sorry to see him go

 

The squad he has left us is night and day away from the one he inherited so for that he has my thanks. Hopefully over the next couple of years that squad will mature and SAFC will benefit from it.

I wish him all the best in the future and bear no animosity - he tried his best and I just think the inconsistency is what did for him here.

Gordon Armstrong has just tweeted, in response to a newspaper article, that he's heard it's Methven that pushing for Keane as manager. Found that a bit strange tbh.

Everyone else has said it's Kyril. And CM can't push anyone, he has no say, and rightly so.

 

I felt that too re lower profile, but thought at least he's stepped down from the championship.

Yeah, I have experienced people hiding their shortcomings behind technical terminology. Maybe he was doing that. I always felt he was trying to be honest though.

 

I would be surprised, and disappointed, with McCann. In sacking Johnson they clearly want something either much better or very different. In my opinion Johnson is better than McCann. If they decide against Keane, or he says no, then I think they either move to Warnock or McCarthy, or payout for an Edwards type.

 

In fairness, the league is unwatchable. I've been twice in the seven years I've lived here and I would rather watch quadriplegic snooker.

 

Exactly mate. I think Boris probably would have done a better job with the budget and players Lee had compared to the rest of the league.
