We’ve come a long way from blaming Labour for all of the country’s fiscal problems. The Tories have borrowed more than every Labour government combined - you really want to try reading The Deficit Myth. Only an absolute nutter would blame the government in charge 13 years ago for today’s issues.

Can anyone really say their life has got better since 2010?
    • Rising energy bills
    • Rising food prices
    • Rising fuel bills
    • Russian interference within the top of government
    • Immigration still unfixed
    • Inflation soaring high
    • Wages stagnating
Isn’t it uncanny how everything bad they told us would happened under Jeremy Corbyn is suddenly happening now?

The older generations have been had. And the young ones will have to pay for it.

Exactly how many pandemics lasting 2 years have labour had to deal with when they have been in power?

And Bob thinks it's bad now, can we even contemplate the abortion the Country would be in had labour been in power having to deal with it! The Country would be skint & on it's knees....
Oh and the small matter of coming out of the EU that the majority of the people voted for in 2016....wow, doesn't bear thinking about, the shambles labour would have gone about things!!

    @BCFCRob
Have you ever considered why Brown and other governments around the world put so much money and effort into saving the worlds banks?

Could it have been to preserve the wealth of the worlds 1% who control 95% of the worlds total wealth?

And best of all we the plebs are paying for the pleasure of preserving the wealth of the 1%, not them.

All governments are the same whatever colour rosette they wear. Corbyn and his followers were in dreamland, even Blair knew he needed big business onside, that is why he and Brown courted them over those 13 years. They also knew that over taxing the rich and tax avoiding companies would have been (however fair it might be) an impossible dream, rich people will move their assets off shore and big business will fund any tax hikes by laying off thousands of staff, both increasing the jobless totals to record levels. Harold Wilson tried it in the 60's over 90% tax on the rich and it failed miserably and ended with many entrepreneurs moving to the states and rich pop stars living and recording abroad all raising the jobless total and those places benefitting from the investment. France tried it about 10 years or so years ago, the experiment lasted about 4 to 6 months, most French millionaires moved to the UK or border cities and towns in Belgium.

The truth is old adages are still true today, life ain't fair and it never will be.

And it never will be whilst the Tories are in power, at least Labour try to look after ordinary people , the Tories just pay lip service to it, and some people fall for it.

Funny how other countries citizens aren't going through as much **** as we are though isn't it. They actually protect their citizens. Did they not have to fight the same pandemic as us? Why are they able to protect their citizens but we're not? I thought it was Rule Britannia, I thought we were the best! At least that's what we kept being told....

Stop defending them, they're s**te and your arguments aren't sticking. Even Rishi bloody Sunak has now said Boris shouldn't have made that Savile comment. Rishi Sunak, the one who will never criticise the PM and even he admits that Boris was wrong. You're so blinkered that you're defending the indefensible.

    Jesus Christ.

This post is a special kind of stupid I'm sorry to say. If you seriously think Labour would have got it this bad you need your head screwing on. As I said before, The Deficit Myth will tell you all you need to know, and the idea that Labour are bad with finances and Tories are good is demonstrably bollocks and has been shown time and time again.

Of course, as usual, the young ones back home will have to pay for the old people's stupidity though. The only generation in centuries to have left a worse life for their kids. All because they're far too gullible and actually believe the sort of **** like in this post. As predicted, they were wrong on Brexit, and they are wrong on this. But very few can accept it.

These people have made your life worse year on year for 12 years and people will still go 'oh but Labour would have been worse!'. Like turkeys voting for Christmas you lot are.

Two things, they never looked after 'ordinary people' during the 13 years in power, the poverty gap became wider and the people in the red wall constituencies obviously didn't believe that or in Corbyn's vision either.

Did Labour supporting the sacking of 40000 care workers (covid vaccination) look after normal people?

Would Keir Starmer's proposed minimum wages look after normal working class people any better than the Tories proposal?

A reason people voted in the millions for the Tories was Labour have ceased to represent a lot of normal people. The Tories look like they have lost the moral responsibility to govern, but this is why millions ceased supporting Labour also. Labour does look upon the working class as a responsibility, you don't look after those you look down upon.
