I voted Brexit and was furious with the Labour party for not backing Mrs May's leave deal. Cos if they had we would have had a 'better brexit and no Johnston. As well as carrying out the referendum wishes.

Starmer was very much Remain, but now I believe he had moved on.

Bonko will have to be crowbarred out of no 10 with Carrie clinging onto him.

Aye I think May’s would have been a better Brexit - she’s largely rational - and funnily enough I would rather Labour had negotiated a version because some Tories seem unbalanced about Europe. It needed to be practical and economic nor ideological. Johnson just likes getting opinion poll points out of hating Frenchmen like the populist half wit he is.

Brexit has it been good or bad you mean?

I always thought it would be 'bad for a few years then would get better. However because of Covid19 it is hard to distinguish what the heck is going on in the economy. Lots of shortages of goods and staffing, energy problems etc. Undoubtedly due in part to Brexit, buts its hard to quantify. There may be some evidence that wages on some sectors are going up cos cheap European labour has gone.

Very mixed atm to be frank.

Certainly apocalypse (as forecast by the Remainders) has not happened.

I meant the whole thing really. Johnson’s administration. Ironically the things that really bug me more even than the parties was how he threw money to Tory friends during the pandemic and gave his mates wife Dido the job as health lead in a pandemic despite her being **** even at IT. Just basically corruption and get rich quick schemes at a time of national hardship. I was dropping food parcels off for families at the time . Just plain wrong.

YET forgets to mention the Labour get rich mps

The LABOUR MPs with second jobs: David Lammy has earned £141,000 in three years for speeches at Google, Facebook, City corporations and media appearances while Keir Starmer pocketed £25k for legal advice
    • David Lammy, Secretary of State for Justice, has worked for a raft of major firms
    • Biggest earner was presenting a regular LBC show, bringing in more than £40k
    • Increased emphasis on MPs outside earnings following Owen Paterson scandal
    • Other Labour MPs with second jobs include Khalid Mahmood, MP for Birmingham Perry Bar, who advises think-tank the Policy Exchange on issues including extremism for £25,000 a year.

Margaret Hodge has a £20,000-a-year role at Royal Holloway University and Dan Jarvis is paid £79,000 to serve as Metro Mayor of the Sheffield City Region.

Meanwhile, Christ Bryant received £2,000 for speaking at an event for Goldman Sachs.

they are all at it not just the party you hate, wow your vengeful

It is now I believe an accepted fact that in the past decade the rich have got richer and the poor poorer, with the gap, unsurprisingly, between rich and poor wider.

It is also accepted that the funding of the NHS and State Education has declined.

As for the PPE and Test and Trace scandal, £ billions spent, lots of it to their friends...for poor return, also fraud even more billions spent and wasted ( World beating, as I recall)

Somehow I doubt a review into the handling of the pandemic will happen any time soon.

All perpetrators of misappropriations of public funds should face jail time, regardless of rank or party

Good theory, but, sadly, bad practice.

Were this to happen, more Jails would have to be built.
    This would mean Government Contracts.

Do you know of ANY Government contract that has come in under budget?
Think NHS and Lorenzo Computer system. £10bil reported wasted.
Military contracts always cost way over the initial estimate, mostly because of constant changes to the specifications.
The Civil Service is not trained for these multi billion contracts, and it's not done to blame Civil Servants for incompetence, (ask Priti Patel).

Mind you, the thought of building a new jail then filling it with same jokers who ballsed up the contract, has a ring of JUSTICE about it.:1980_boogie_down:

when it comes to costs i see care for illegal migrants costs are now at 1.5 million a day, Thank you Tony Blair, for your humanitarian act so your wife could make your family millionaires at the taxpayers expense, not to mention the strain on the NHS with all these freebies for the illegals fast approaching 30,000 and rising every day. Isn't it about time to also reverse the other Blair policy's, like barrister legal aid for illegals which make shylock lawyers and barristers rich on the taxpayer, hang on wasnt Starmer a barrister so that's how he managed to trouser the 7.7million nest egg, A lot of facts slipping past here without a mention, as i only hear about the evil of the Tories, yet the big money millions like the Blair Panama papers are never mentioned,

You'll get the argument soon "but labour.....". Do folk forget about black Wednesday and the sky high interest rates we were subjected to. The serious underfunding of public services etc. The tories are not the party of fiscal prudence they are the party for the rich or the I'm alright Jack types.

It's sad and embarrassing when MP's say that 'billions have been lost or written off' as if the money has vanished into thin air. It hasn't, it's gone straight into the pockets of chums who'll donate a percentage to the Tory party so their mates are re-elected and continue diverting money to them.

The whole thing is shameful and the actions of any previous government doesn't make it less so.

I would love to know what the bloody answer is, it’s certainly not the public fighting each other about who’s the
s hitest party, there should be some way to join together and finally sack these f uckers off.
