33,000 tickets for the day trip to Wembley would be a grand day out. In the end distraction from what?
I don't know but a concussion doesn't really show up on a scan. he could get a slap in the head for us and drop with another concussion cos hes not rests or healed here and i presume he's just gone back trainign and heading footballs the day after. It should highlight that uless its a FIFA mandate we are at nothing here. Free sub for concussion? nah.. 14 days enforced protocol and independent HIA assessment at games is the only way to go.
I agree. Obviously Senegal really needed him, and no doubt he was desperate to play, but the rules should be strict on this and put his safety first.
he shouldn't have played this game but then again they SHOULD have easily won this without him but managed to need him badly. the rules across the globe are weak. we've seen far too many cases in england on this.
Hoping Egypt will beat Cameron .. Dream final Senegal v Egypt, whom do you want to win AFCON final. Tricky question?
I don't have a preference. From our point of view both of our players come back with medals. Who do you want to win?
I'm all in for mane as I have been from the off. They were my hot favourites and to be honest this is like world cup in Russia. All the good teams have been knocked out leaving the hosts v Egypt in the other side of the draw and I cannot still see Egypt progrssing further even though I said the same for the last 16 and qfs. Mane to win gold.
I want Mane to win as I think we could do with a boost and getting one over Salah. Salah is getting more and more plaudits whilst Mane is getting more criticism. At the same time, Salah is pretty much carrying that Egypt team and his status really will be elevated if he can deliver this.
I haven't seen many games, but from what I have Mané has still stood out in a strong team, and has been the better of the two for me. He's getting a bit more space than he does in the PL, and that plays to his strengths. Salah will always be head and shoulders above his team-mates and he's the bigger name globally, so he's always going to be the one to attract the headlines.
Mane has arguably been better but he is surrounded by better players. Salah has also been good but his performances get lost due to the donkeys around him. He's created so many chances, scored goals and got assists. We're blessed to have these two - I hope Mo makes it to the final. Two African Kings, representing their nation and LFC.
My point was that even with good players around him Mané looked a cut above. Mo is bound to look good because the rest of his team are pretty average. This isn't putting him down.
I want the best for Mane and Salah, but selfishly part of me is hoping they don't meet. I don't want any risk of bad blood between the two of them.
why on earth would there be bad blood in an honest game of football lol. this happens all the time in world cups and euros and whatever. players are pros.
