Hope Bruno learns English and speaks to us - something Coloccini didn't seem to do.

I have a feeling we will be hit with three at the back. This obsession with getting a left footed centre back was bandied about everywhere. I personally think its a bad call but both of our last two managers felt this is what suited the squad best. Howe may be the same.

It doesn't matter what formation he uses if lacelles is playing. He all I've the place and never decisive on or off the ball. He's afraid.

I don't want him in the team but I couldn't really give a monkey's if I was being honest. All I care about between now and May is winning games. If we do that with or without Lascelles I'll be happy. If we don't then I won't.

I don't think we'll win on Tuesday if he plays. He really is out of his depth and he hinders the side on possesion and without.

He's been responsible for almost every goal conceded this season.

People saying me played well at Leeds? I don't know what have they were watching because he was absolutely awful. The only reason we won was because he was injured

Bruno has been learning English since he arrived in France apparently as he was always hoping to play EPL - probably won't understand the Geordie accent off that bat but give him time.

Edit - since he was in Brazil supposedly - "Guimaraes has long dreamed of playing in the Premier League - he even started learning English when he was at Athletico"

If we do go three at the back it'll be interesting if Howe goes 3-4-3/3-4-2-1 or 3-5-2 each have their pros and cons...

BUT 3 at the back works - as long as it is exactly that! What we have been given in the last 4/5 years is 5 at the back and 3 or 4 in front which is not how the system is meant to be played unless you are looking for a smash and grab's - which we have managed a few times or a-la Cambridge a few weeks back. The problem we have had is it's a flat 5 basically meaning you DON'T trust the CB's.

As a 3 (and you trust the CB's and a good covering midfielder) it ends up more attacking with full backs given permission to get forwards and get crosses in, the wingers tuck in and support the striker while the free CM's given more license to get forwards towards the edge of the box while providing cover against the counter.

So it can be a more attacking formation. Personally though we've looked good in a back 4 and I think it'd be silly to change that at present - just stating to get some form together and with Bruno coming in I think the 3 in midfield, Joelinton and Willock would be my choices (although Shelvey has played well the last 2 games) is already a million times better than what it was before the last game against Leeds.

Yeah he did play at Leeds in terms of defending. Loads of excellent blocks. He was still **** in possession though. We'd have sure conceded though if he hadn't done his defensive work well. Schar was still the better player though, because he was better in possession. People shouldn't kid themselves though, Schar is still a liability as he's proven on several occasions this season. I haven't forgot him fannying around against Norwich or the Brentford game amongst others.

I can only assume you've been watching someone else, Clark has been comfortably our worst player this season. Cost us loads of goals and especially in crucial games. I can see why he was jettisoned first. Lascelles has also cost us goals, but so have most of the back four to be honest. We've delivered some really **** defenders performances over the course of this season. Which is probably why we've replaced them all.

No im watching lacelles and I've noticed the other cbs struggle playing with him because he's so crap

Clark has a had a poor season but he's not playing every game.

I'm talking lacelles... I watched the Leeds game 3 times now and lacelles was absolutely crap. Schar bailed him out a few times..

    Schar was outstanding.

Jamal lacelles is the worst cb in the league and the squad.. The other players don't know what the **** he's going to go next.

    You want to win games?
Look at the last 11 games of last season an see who's missing..
