I saw Blondie this year at York races,a bit of an old hag wearing a blonde wig but the music still sounded ok.
Regret not getting the chance to see Elvis as the bastard never came here and died when I was 10. Also regret not seeing Buddy Holly live as he had the cheek to die 8 years before I was born, selfish ****.
Other than that I think I've seen all the greats that I want to see. The Smiths. Morrissey solo. Jackson Browne. James Taylor. Bay City Rollers. Don Williams. Johnny Collins. As well as some ok ones.
Must admit would have been great to see Bowies Stardust finale. Only saw him once on the god awful Glass Spider Tour which was absolute keech. Roker Park in Sunderland 1987. The one saving grace was hearing All The Madmen.
i saw it at Wembley...hmm, stadium i think. The whole staging was awesome. He was a one off, and nobody comes close to David Bowie for trailblazing.
Damn right. It's the only thing me and grandpaw ER have in common. Last time I saw Bowie was at SECC in 2003. ****e venue but who care when it's Bowie? Crap to think I'll probably never get the chance to see him again.
You mean back when the racist, money-grabbing ****ers were playing South Afica depsite it being boycotted by anyone with morals?
