If you'd have said before the transfer window that we'd: 1. hold on to Wilson & ASM, 2. bring in 3 defenders with proven Prem experience, 3. bring in an International quality CM, 4. bring in an experienced prem forward, and that all 5 new signings will most likely be starters in the first team, then I think I'd have taken that all day. I think the only thing really missing is an attacking/creative midfielder to play in behind the forwards (ideally right-sided). But otherwise, a decent transfer window. So now it's all down to Eddie and the boys to secure survival in 17 games.
Do we need a midfield with Bruno and Shelvey in it? I hope Bruno is pretty broadminded about how his team mates aren't the same as his team mates from the other night.
If we play a two in midfield i'd hope it's Joelinton and Bruno. If we play a 3 it will have Shelvey in there aswell. I think i'd play Shelvey deepest, Bruno a bit inbetween and Joelinton doing his body guard job.
