After Tuesday's games we are now in 12 place and a mid-table mediocrity finish is the best we can expect i think. We are 12 points off the playoffs, but only 10 above the relegation zone!
I can't believe that we failed to sign midfielder Ben Thompson after Millwall released him from his contract, especially after Shaun Williams got injured against Charlton the same evening! I agree that the playoffs are an unrealistic target now, we can only hope!!
I expect there are quite a number of fans calling for the Cowleys dismissal, however I am not of that number. My criticism is the recruiting policy as it has been cack as seen by the purchase of seasoned journeyman pros in their late 20s and 30s.who have not really improved the quality of the squad. Who was the scout who persuaded PFC to sign Jamal Lowe. We. need to find players like this in the National League tiers.
