Don't get me wrong Roy Keane gave me some of the best years other than Reidy and I want him in as the other options are utter ****e if rumours are true.

My main worry here is Kyril seems to be very naive and appointing players and potentially managers based off the fans reactions for popularity. Hopefully it all pays off but just something to consider if it gans tits up

i understand that fear but if I can attempt to reduce it, if KLD was all about bringing people in to get the fans onboard, Kevin Phillips would have been here a year ago.

If we got Keano in it'd take away the Mags thunder, don't matter how much money they spend. Its about characters and they don't come bigger than Keane. I reckon his TV work has made him even bigger box office.

I don’t want to think about the unthinkable, but I also think Roy Keane might just about be the only candidate that could “get away” with not going up this season. Not saying anyone would be pleased about it. But anybody coming in now is screwed if we don’t go up. I reckon he’s the only one who wouldn’t be

Sunderlands problem is we've been soft as ****e for years. **** managers, our Identity out the window to the point where Short gave us away (not literally) to two car salesmen, that thought they could flip us using our own money.Enough is enough. What's to say Keane would be short term? What's to say Defoe is finished at the end of the season? We're f##kin Sunderland, the team that when Man City pissed the leauge a battered all before them on the way to the title could only manage a point against us. The team that ended Jose' unbeaten run at home, the team that's 9 games unbeaten against our ex rivals, a team that had players like Quinn that dragged players like Sol Campbell around the pitch on the way to another victory at the Stadium of light. A team that had the one player in Kevin Ball ,that take no **** Vinne Jones genuinely feared. That tweet from that daft ****e reporter when he said We're no longer news worthy should have struck a chord. So aye, being back Defoe, get Roy Keane back because I'm getting a bit fed up of being the forgotten team in the Northeast. FTM and Haway the ****in lads.
