I may have missed it, but what is the reason you can only have 2/3 ticket promotions a year?

Is it around the season pass holders not being able to benefit?

You also have to have the OK from the team you are playing.

Yep, that should be about doable as an average I would hope.

I've begrudgingly got to take my hat off to The Blunts on those stats - they must be the new 'Sheffield massive'

There used to be a league rule about the number of ticket promotions you could run in a season, I think it used to be three and you usually need to offer the same ticket offers to the away team.

It changed in 1983. Away teams got a percentage of the gate and a small amount went to the league. Big clubs, Man Utd, Liverpool etc didn't like teams getting more from games at their place than they got from the return fixture so got it scrapped. Which makes it a mystery why the away team has to agree as it no longer affects them. The League getting a cut may be a reason for them limiting the number of games allowed. Away teams still get a share of gate receipts in Cup competitions.

Unfortunately or fortunately cannot post the actual song ****ing useless on computers but it seems turkey is really taking the tigers to heart…

    Acun Ilicali serenaded
with special Hull City song on The Voice Turkey

The Hull City owner hosts the Turkish version of The Voice and was greeted with a special Hull City song by the television programme's voice coaches
The population of Turkey know all about Hull City. The Tigers' new owner Acun Ilicali has made certain of that.
Ilicali hosts and produces one of the biggest TV shows in Turkey on his own television channel and has regularly talked about his ownership of the club on the show, even going as far as announcing he had completed the takeover of the club on a live New Year's Eve special.
Asking for the people of Turkey to get behind the Tigers, the City owner has pushed City's cause on the show. The roles were reversed on an episode with The Voice coaches serenading the presenter with their own version of a Hull City song.
Led by comedian Beyazit Oztyurk, the panellists sang a brief, albeit catchy Hull City sing to Ilicali.
The Hull City owner has completed his recording of the latest series of The Voice Turkey and is now jetting between his production base in the Dominican Republic to film Survivor, and returning to England to be present at Hull City games and work with his new board including vice chairman Tan Kesler and chief executive Jim Rodwell.
The Tigers return to action at the MKM Stadium on Saturday when they bid to make it four successive victories when hosting Preston North End.

Quote for a 12x18 banner is £4400 might get a discount.
Mesh canvas, digital printed and weighs in at 25kg.

If the club gives a go ahead, we will need a bank account to set up payments to. Just giving site charge too much really. I would like someone to step up as a treasurer for this please.

Please don’t waste my time with jokes etc. I don’t put myself forward for stuff like this just to get a kicking. If you have reservations about me or my motives, PM me as it’s easy to ignore you.

If everything goes ahead I would like to have it ready for Barnsley. Might need 4 East Standers to get it in place and wrapped up.

Design wise. The first design was from Mauled1904 I like the concept.
Any photographs have to be copyright free

I would welcome any designs to be put forward to go on it.

One other consideration is that it can be used as a seating cover as well. So if anyone can guesstimate the seating block size in the North Stand and West Stand Upper. It might give an ideal size.

This isn't a joke. Why not ask the club to contribute and make one big enough to cover the segregated area of seats?

That sort of takes away the gesture in my opinion.

Yes you are right, but we need to have as much input as possible and it is just as well that we have professional graphic designers (not me) on here.

I do all of my stuff on Powerpoint. Its easy except for the sizing.

Posters should post their own ideas.

This would be good if it spreads, woman at my wife’s work went to her first match last weekend with her husband who usually works away . She told my wife what fantastic time they had and how good the noise and atmosphere was - they may become new recruits . My Wife going for first home match next week too - we now need 5k more!

Tickets booked for Preston game, bit sparce in the main blocks of East Stand but lots of availability still in South Stand and the wings. If ever there was a time to get behind them it's now.

You're right but with 7 games in Feb that's a lot to fork out for people who aren't members. Could be a case of going to 1 in 3 or 4 for many.

The only option left to most now is a 6 match saver? Saves £3 a game,it's not much but it's something:emoticon-0148-yes:

£27 is the going rate nowadays for a standard ticket with no concessions and that's probably comparable throughout the Championship.

Tbh I ain't been for a couple of seasons due to a.combination of lockdown and the Allams so making up for lost time while I'm off, but yeh understandable, £27 a game, and my good lady decided she enjoyed it so much against Swansea she wants to come again, soon adds up.
