Don't be. Cool is as cool does. You're a good man Stainesy, just a bit confused. Steelsy's cool too really, but I seem to have upset him.
I'm currently watching the NFL conference game between the LA Rams and the San Francisco 49ers. The Rams are at home, but the stadium seems to be mostly full of 49ers fans, which would probably be down to the fact that, as a relatively new franchise, the Rams don't have as many 'proper fans' as the Niners do. Apparently the wife of the Rams owner was buying up tickets and giving them away to random people just so that San Francisco fans couldn't get them. Go 49ers.
The Rams win. Too many franchises drifting in and out of LA over the years. I like the ones who have never moved, and have been around for a long time, like the Bears and the Packers.
When I lived in New Jersey I loved supporting the three ‘lesser’ teams by NY’ers. Made me a firm Jets, Mets and Nets fan. Nets did win the Stanley cup while I was there; an odd Mets win over the Yankees was always so much bigger than a usual Yankees win (though I never really got on with Baseball) and the Nets were a rising force in Basketball and often beat the Knicks much to their annoyance. Took me a while to like basketball, but once ‘I got it’ the skills are incredible. Gotta that love the underdog, especially when it upsets the trophy followers
Don’t think the Nets have won the Stanley cup mate. Wrong sport……although I have spent a lot of time in Indianapolis over the last 20 years I have never developed an attachment to the Colts or the Pacers (never quite got basketball). They have a minor leagues baseball team, the Indians, and while I’m not a huge fan of the game they play in a downtown stadium and the atmosphere is good. I’m much more attached to Chicago teams, especially the Blackhawks.

To be fair should have been done a couple of months ago, now any new manager has missed out on transfer window and has limited time to turn them around. Can't see Bruce being the answer but we shall see!
I know and he's been hopeless that's why I hoped he stayed. Bruce is a decent manager and with the players they have I fully expect them to improve and probably consolidate a play off position !
Sheffield United and Luton both in strong form, Boro rejuvenated under Wilder . We really can't afford any sort of drop in form or we could tumble out of the play off spots. We just have to keep winning and see where we end up, hopefully Blackburn will realise where they are and fall apart and Haurcut 100 and he's 1000 strong squad will implode from within ! We can but hope
You’re right. Schoolboy error there Sb … was the Devils of course. Didn’t fit in with my rhyming teams .
Bruce been given an 18 month contract at Baggies, I suppose that's all they could afford seeing how they've got to pay the remaining 3 1/2 years of previous manager's contract, plus likely still paying Bilich as well....... Fast becoming a basket case club......
