Lampard ****ed himself over at Chelsea by dropping the real pros and so he never kept a clean sheet. I'd like to see exactly how he thinks alli and beaky will help their defence.
He's got a job on his hands. But it's good to finally have a job again! But seriously it's going to be hard work.
He should've stayed at Derby. He was doing good things there and had the respect of the players. If he didn't have such a big opinion of himself he would've gone back to the championship to build himself as a manager and come back stronger.
Nah, I think he saw the situation clearly. He failed to get promoted and there was no money and he wasn't going to get another mount and Wilson type loan deal. I agree he should have gone to a better championship club and tried to get the loan in but I half think Chelsea only loaned to him to keep him sweet.
Like I said on an earlier post, this behaviour is hard wired in. So you’re probably right. But I do not underestimate the impact of the culture at the club can make. Especially when you have the players from kids. Keeping massive egos in check and keeping players humble but hungry isn’t easy, but it can keep them grounded a little more - whether this would have made a difference to this tw@t is questionable, as you say but these small things help…..and without picking on Utd (we went through the exact same period and have had our own problems and likely will again at some point), The culture at Utd is not conducive to any of this. Fergie would have had a word or had him out a long time before it reached this point. All that said, some people are beyond help, you just hope he gets his lot.
Spurs fans seem to be a.mixed bunch. Thay have in short thrown a massive massive amount of money away hoping loans work out for Gill, lo celso and ndombele (115mils worth there) And have flogged alli off having blocked several moves in the past that could have yelled 50% more money. They then buy two quite cheap cast offs from juve and call it good work. Well I suppose only time will tell if conte has pulled a master stroke off.
Chelsea play Lille on Tuesday 22nd so not huge disadvantage. Why is odd is that it’s on the same time as CL games. I thought whole point was you weren’t allowed prem games to take place on Tuesday and Wednesday because of the CL?
No bother. Get in in there when we are all fit and ready. BTW i don't think there's too many dates available unless we crash bout of fa cup and Europe early so I'd prefer to plan to win a quadruple than plan on fitting this in while city are going for a big treble.
