It's no good signing anybody from a league like that in Australia, is it, or America . . . . like Defoe <doh>

I wonder how many had heard of Wenger (my first thought as an example) before he came to manage in England :emoticon-0112-wonde

If you're going to continue to post deliberately, and only, to disrupt decent threads . . . . well, you may well not be able to 'cos the vast majority (it might be all of us) are absolutely sick of your whingeing and having a go at everything and every one. You're obviously not a Sunderland fan and I don't understand why you spend so much time on this board when you could post on your own team's (if you have one) board :emoticon-0105-wink:

You should stop trying to make threads all about you <doh>

You're a moron because you have dismissed him out of hand as he's an Australian. If you must know i've lived here for the past 42 years so yes, i do know a little bit about Australian football.

Terry has proven nothing, his assistant manager gig was most likely part of his final playing contract.
Keane as a dinosaur, not related to his age but his man management skills. Football and the ego's associated with it have changed since the days that Alex Fergusaon ruled with an iron fist. It's much more about man mangement that dictatorship nowadays and in my opinion Keane is a remnant from the latter.

To be honest, I'd have said that working and being successful in a league at a lower standard was harder than working with higher standard players. The higher up you go, the greater the footballing intelligence of the players is, making it easier to get them to understand what you want.

Ask the Celtic fans about their boss before spouting uneducated nonsense

Just had a quick Google on kisnorbo, played for Leicester, Leeds and Hearts.

Seems to be doing a good job at Melbourne after working up from youth coach.

Experience of lower leagues as a player over here and would possibly accept that players at our current level have limitations.

If I recall one of the things Keane struggled with was players not being at the standard he expected and played with at Man Utd?

For once I'm happy to sit back and see. Speakman is a lot more qualified than any of us. He's not going to pick a name or a left field manager for the sake of it. Let's back whoever comes and "trust the process"

If you’re going to create an online profile that exists purely to be negative about everything, at least try to hide it rather than call yourself “the realist”. Give yourself an ambiguous name so nobody knows you have just one agenda.

Take me for example - I called myself Southern A so that people think I’m from the south and nobody guesses that I’m a Swiss billionaire.

Just been having a look at the betting sites and picked out a few names that we've not mentioned on here yet. Marc Bircham, Jody Morris, Nicky Butt, Luke Garrard, or Michael Laudrup all seem unlikely to me. Kisnorbo is beginning to appear on the lists. I find it a little bit reassuring that the bookies don't seem to have a clue.

actually when you think about it, he sort of has. A realist accepts the situation and is prepared to deal with it accordingly. This ****er just whinges
