Well if a CV based entirely on his workings in a Z league indicates he can do a job then fair enough.
Why? Terry unproven and Keane a dinosaur. Sell them to me or is it just because they were good footballers and as such will be good managers?
Ange Postecoglou I believe František Straka and Johnny van't Schip have had respectable careers too...
The one that started the season with a depleted squad that is now only 2 points behind Rangers and still in Euorpe? yeah that one
Keane a dinosaur?? He’s 50 year old ffs! Terry is unproven but has cut his teeth as asststant at Villa. He has to start somewhere why not league 1?
You're a ****ing moron mate. Roy Keane, 42 wins as a Sunderland manager, 27 of those in the Championship
Well, in that case why not give it to someone who has actually done the top job and has won titles? Like Kisnorbo.
So when someone disagrees with you you start with the verbals? I’m not interested in the cyber hard man stuff to be honest. If you’re happy with a bloke up until 24 hours ago you’d never heard of then good for you.
Yeah I don't know much about Kisnorbo but at least he's actively doing a good job in management, Terry is a daft suggestion based only on him being a good player. I don't see how you can scoff at one 'unproven' manager then suggest another as your pick.
My choice is a bit left field. John Herdman, the current Canada men's national team coach. Canada are currently top of their qualifying group for the World Cup ahead of both the USA and Mexico, looking certain to qualify for the first time since 1986. He's also coached the Canadian women's team, winning bronze medals at the 2012 and 2016 Olympics. Add in that he's a local lad, from Consett and was on the SAFC coaching team until he left to go to New Zealand. It's unlikely because of the world cup, but if possible he'd be my choice
It’s a dismal standard. Put it this way you put a poll out ego you’d rather have Keane or Kisnrbo, I know who the fans would go for. I suppose that makes the majority of fans morons then! (I know it wasn’t you who called me that by way so not directed at you).
Yeah, that's a very good shout. You're right though, I doubt anyone in their right mind would want to miss out on a World Cup.
I know nowt about Kisnorbo or the Australian League but Roy Hodgson had a start at clubs in countries that wouldn’t inspire you, but he had a fairly decent career and done wonders for Switzerland.
