What the Premier league career where he's hit double figure for each of the last 4 seasons, and the season in the championship prior to that when he scored 30 goals? <doh>

Yep, why can't we get killer strikers like Xisco, Emmanuel Riviere, Luuk De Jong, Stephanie Guivar'ch and Andreas Andersons anymore?

All we've got is Chris Wood these days :embarrassed:

I think Roly's gone early on this one. Too early to tell for me, but leaning to positive as he bring something we didn't have.

And also, just so someone agrees with Roly, - he's not Dwight Gayle!

Wood looks a very good short term fix to me. It’s a shrewd piece of business. We stay up - worth every penny of the 25m paid. We go down he will guaranteed fire the goals to take us back up - worth every penny of the 25m paid. I can’t really see a downside. He will retain value of a minimum of 10m if we do decide to offload in the summer. When you consider the money involved in PL status regardless what happens this season, he’s going to be value for money.

I actually think he’s a physical presence which will help create room for Max (watch his output improve now with Wood and Bruno in the side), he can provide a superb foil for Wilson if we got two up, when Wilson is fit he gives us a different option off the bench. He helps us finds a way to win for me, which is all that matters. The Chris Woods won’t be in our long term future but he might help us shorten how long it takes to get to it.

Realistically all he needs to do is help the team score and win games.

He’s an ok signing. Nothing flash.

    A Ford Focus.

If Howe drops Lascelles we will stay up, but I think we're doomed otherwise

I mean the minute he's off the pitch we looked a different side on and off the ball a Leeds.. Last season our best run was when he was injured

Why is nobody seeing the connection?

I think he'll not be 1st choice now but it may just be wishful thinking, he always seems to worm his way back in despite being a bag of ****e

At least Hayden looks done now

Vs camebridge Howe rested one player and it was that bumbling fool.

I honestly think lacelles will be starting every game.

We hear that Howe is a student of the game and reviews /analyses the game.

If that's true, then he has to act with his head and show whose boss.
