I don't believe he'd be offered one and not sure he'd want one tbh ... ... 'blaze of glory' to retire on would suit everyone.
Why is everyone only discussing managers out of work? They’re available for a reason Go get someone who is doing well now
Based on what? He got sacked by Middlesbrough fir failing. He’s a blow hard. Yes he’s done it before but so had Parkinson etc. Woukd detest this if it happened seriously!
No one mentioned Solksjaer and Carrick? I'm sure when he left Utd we were one of the favourites where he'd be next manager
Someone has already mentioned it but go and get someone doing well. In fact, go and sell the dream to a Championship manager. They're calling the skunks hoyin money around the "Newcastle project", we actually are a project.
If we got the baby face in I would be ecstatic. That appointment would fit. Unrealistic and I don't want any skunks saying Im deluded. What it would take though is a wedge of cash from KLD, buy in from Ole, and a mutual belief that greatness can be achieved.
Could this be us…? https://www.ftbl.com.au/news/english-club-poised-to-hand-a-league-coach-golden-opportunity-575443
Neil warnoc was on about Roy Hodgson going back into management and said he’d do the same for 6 months. Nowt about keano.
Erick Mombaerts, his mentor, is now at Troyes as head of academy and is highly thought of at City Football Group… we seemingly have a good relationship with both City and Troyes and by extension Melbourne City… KLD said applicants from all over world… Not many EFL clubs are looking for a manager… That report seems pretty specific to have been made up…
I listened back mate. He said “Roy’s gone back in there” when asked about the Sunderland job but he was clearly talking about Hodgson in the context of them both being old blokes doing one last job.
It's a bit of a vague article to be honest. No quotes or even hints about which club. Until we appoint a new manager there will be loads of articles and guesses like this.
