Billy, you'd be hard pressed to find a post of mine on here, slating the club, manager or players, other than the handling of tickets and membership. I should have been clearer in my first post, I meant to say, Radz isn't a fan as in Ridsdale, so won't think like a fan, trouble when you have limited time, rushing a long post. But, I truly believe Radz as taken us as far as he can on his own. And I stand by my comment on the offer for the yank, at the start of the window RB S said that they were expecting offers for the player but wouldn't consider any other than 10 times what they paid for him (£6m), because after the World Cup that's what they expect his worth to be, so why then make this your number 1 target, originally offering a quarter of what they'd want, from a club that we are in conflict with still, over the JKA saga, do you really think they would be happy to do any sort of business with us let alone at a price they probably just laughed at, given their valuation. We all know how light we are in midfield and in the big wide world of football, since September we've only come up with one viable option, doesn't make sense I'm not sure we made a oncrete offer on the lad from Liverpool, just like West Ham didn't make one for either Raphinha or Phillips. I'm a little disappointed we didn't strengthen midfield in January but not surprised one bit as I didn't think it would happen. I understand that we're in a much better place than anytime over the last 16 years but you can't stand on your laurels you have to progress and you say we will go again In the market and shift out some of the Championship team but there is no evidence of that, as all we seem to hear from the club is the expected emergence of the u23's.
Manchester United footballer Mason Greenwood has been further arrested on suspicion of sexual assault and making threats to kill.
Ahh ‘the morning after’ the transfer deadline thread doom and despair fights it out to the death with happy clappy it’s a little Leeds board tradition
It seems to be bud. Radz isn’t perfect but has done a good job and learned quickly. Orta made a dogs dinner of year one but helped get Bielsa which lets be honest could have gone either way but has been fantastic… and since then orta’s done pretty well. Bielsa is completely dingbats but a dingbats genius so you have accept the ‘head in hands’ moments for all the brilliant football and great times he’s delivered. January window. To me not buying or loaning a midfielder (and I don’t mean panic buying anyone, but a genuine squad addition) is a disappointment given how light we are in that position even when everyone is fit. It’s a risk. But it is what it is. ALAW
