No news about him yet and it would prob onky be one game to miss. He did well against Leeds, his physical presence up front made a difference.
Chris Wood always outscores Dwight Gale - that's always bothered me, but since January I've learned to cope with it
He's just one of those that's never going to work, is just going to be baffling for a few months, before he's then sold back to Burnley for about £12m, because they have to sell Weghorst after relegation. Honestly, I don't know why anyone's defending the transfer. It's another Nickson classic, a right royal **** up and a stupid waste of money. I only pray it doesnt cost us our place in the PL. Hopefully means the end of Nickson, though. What's he done - won some headers, none of which turned into attacks, and missed from 8 yards out. Oh, and was caught on his heels vs Leeds when Wilson would've had a tap in. Oh, and couldn't control a simple pass from Fraser (vs Leeds) that would have put us 2-0 up. He's been a lumbering ****ing donkey and for a club looking to play on the front foot, he's a waste of space. I'd sooner have had Carroll back for free for four months, and used the £25m to get a mobile forward with at least an ounce of potential.
I appreciate the Andy Carroll sort of job he does. Even if he doesn't score, he brings others into play. It's a relief to be able to just play a long ball out of defence rather than having piss about with it.
Roland and his wife Wife: "oh hunny look, its 20% off bacon today." Roly: "how anyone can think thats a good deal ****ing baffles me. Its clearly inferior product, when we could go out and spend 20% extra for a superior bacon ..."
I was foolishly going off his entire PL/Championship career to date. You're right - I'd better give him another 300 games to show what he can really do. Transfermarkt, in light of our £25m transfer, has him valued at £5m. All he has in his favour is he's not Dwight Gayle.
Told you before, mate, I pour every ounce of whingeing bollocks into Newcastle, so the rest of my life is roses and sunshine.
