I don't rate Weghorst either, but I'd rather have seen him turn up for £12m than spunk £25m on Wood. Better the donkey you know? Nope. I blame Nickson. I think he's ****ing useless. It's been well reported that Nickson really rated Wood but even Bruce thought he was garbage. Bruce might be a dickhead, but I'd rather he was in Nickson's position and Nickson was sacked, not even joking.

woke up today and felt a sense of pride that we have owners with ambition... and who see an issue in an are of the pitch and try to fix it.. rather than going out to buy 4 left backs when we need a goalie etc..... We now have Hope... and it's over to Eddie and the boys to win some matches now... Can't wait for the next game.
Definitely strong from the back, lack of firepower is a concern though, have to hope Bruno frees up Willock and Shelvey etc to score more. Also let's not overlook Miggy, who should come back in the team too. Gamireas and Trippier are fantastic buys, better than a team in the relegation zone could ever have hoped for, and Burn and Target are improvements on what we've got. Wood? Well there's a reason he got double figures each season for Burnley, we just need to play to his strengths. The 3 new defenders should make a big difference, good to see our major problem being addressed, this hopefully sees Clarke ousted from the team, and if Lascelles wants to keep his place he's gonna have to up his game. Right get da **** back from Saudi now and get training with these guys!
Nah, don't buy this at all. His job is to scour the world for players, investigate via agents who would be interested/willing and get that list acted upon. We went into January with very little clear plan and ended up with Nickson's first choice (Wood) before we ever tried elsewhere.
