I think there are 3 things that I'm drawing from the outcomes of this interim report.

Firstly Sue Gray's implied a lot throughout the report and hinted at other things, all seemingly aimed at Boris without being explicit.

Secondly, it appears his own MPs remain unhappy, and that they thought he gave a poor account of himself in parliament today.

Finally, the longer this is dragged out as a result of the police investigation, and the U-turn in agreeing to publish the full report afterwards, the more damaging and ineviteable the outcome, if only because of the discontent that'll grow within the party as a result.

Looking at tomorow's papers this is absolute carnage. The spectrum of front pages, and papers that normally back this government are ripping him to shreds.

What's interesting is you begin to understand why in the old days ministers and PMs would've resigned because it's come to a point where he's pigheaded enough to carry on (and he may still survive) but the toxic nature of carrying on just poisons everything on your own side. And that's what's happening here.

Express, Times, Telegraph all laying into him. And when you read on it's all largely influenced by what Tory MPs are saying/doing and the grass roots sentiment.

I think his performance in the parliament was a massive fck up as far as his own party was concerned.

Agree mate, but I think it's his character and that's been evident for a long time, even before he was PM.

Problem is who replaces him, the ideal Tory identikit candidates would be Jacob Reece-Mogg or amusingly Sir Kier Starmer

The thing that I find hard to stomach is when disingenuous morally corrupt politicians are in trouble they treat the public with complete contempt and throw something out there they expect us to buy into like we're idiots.

I refer today to the proposal that they are going to re-jig Number 10. I can just imagine it. Boris and his cronies sitting there saying, "well the Gray report's coming out. We're going to have to put something out there, so we look like we're on their side and want to hold someone accountable and look like we're doing sonething about it..."

"Oh look there's a bit in here about how Number 10 is too bloated and archaic in the way it's run..."

"AH GREAT! Lets build that up. Make it sound like that's the real problem and we're going to do something about it. That'll appease the peasants out there."

"That should keep the masses on board. Excellent excellent. Lets get it written up. You still got those bottles of single malt in the cabinet?"

I'd opt for Sajid Javed as the only one from the Cabinet.

I'd prefer outside the cabinet though. It won't be anyone I'd name though as they won't get a look in. E.g. Andrew Mitchell.

I don't disagree with what you say, hence why I liked your post. However, I'm still stubborn as far as I'm concerned regarding him. I'm sick to the back teeth of people like Anna Soubry and Tony Blairs past advisor (Alastair Campbell), they've had it in for him since Brexit, so I look at it like this, if they are supposed to be our moral guidance, then I'll take a different route to them. Give me someone different, and I'll consider voting for them, but I'm damned if I will ever heed the words of war mongers advisor and if the alternative is voting Labour, they can go fook themselves. Duggie you read what I wrote about Rosie Duffield today, that's the excuse of a man called Starmer, no fooking balls to tell her haters to fook off, because he might cause offence to the Trans community. So in the meantime, I'll stay nailed to my political cross, until someone truly has the balls to lead this country better. I will vote with the devil if anyone ever considers us rejoining the EU.

    This is the thing

Everybody knew (or should have known) what Boris is like, because his record of ineptitude, lying, and general misdemeanour is evident in every office he's held.

And yet still people voted for him. Misled by empty promises and meaningless platitudes.

It comes as zero surprise that he's made a mockery of the office of PM

That was Boris' immediate go to. Let's concentrate on the reforms and ignore the **** behaviour.

She was quite clear that the problem was a 'LACK OF LEADERSHIP'

She even pointed out that too much emphasis and expectation was being put on senior civil servants

In summary - IT'S YOUR ****ING JOB BORIS AND YOU ****ED IT UP
