I’m genuinely interested to know the exact details of the Auba deal to Barca. They literally have no money….actually far far worse than that in that they have minus no money….big style. Reports last week were that they couldn’t bring new players in until they freed up their wage bill somewhat….as far as I’m aware dembele is still a Barca playe and they’ve brought Traore in from wolves since as well. There’s nee way PEA is playing for free and I can’t see how Barca can even afford £50k a week which is a hell of a come down from £350k. There must be some deals with sponsors paying him or something else going on…it ****ing stinks tho I know that!
I do t get the Ramsey to Rangers deal? He’s on £300k+ a week at Juve. Rangers can’t afford 1/10th of that? It doesn’t add up?
Never mind the wages, why the **** would he go there? Obviously he wasn’t beating offers off with a stick but he must have had at least one from a PL outfit surely? He’ll rip that league up like to be fair but that ain’t really that hard to do!
Their captain (the knacker that is James Tavernier) is on £24k a week, which is one of their highest earners.
Both Rangers and Celtic still have a big draw within football. Maybe not at a player's height of career, but more of a draw then most fans down here would think. I don't imagine they are paying the full wages though.
It would appear it's unlikely nufc can get anyone.. The French kid pulled their pants down at the death.
It’s just weird as ****. If Juve wanted him off the books then they can’t have accepted them paying 90% of his wages. So it doesn’t add up?
Can’t believe we signed wood and Burnley signed wieghurst or whatever he is called. It it’s been a good January. Whichever way we look at it.
Its a lot of money for them, but they probably can. Close to 50,000 at home games plus sponsorship deals. They don't have a huge wage bill.
