Imagine such a thing! What an absolute farce we’ve been all these years.

Think this Brentford guy is a top dollar signing. He’s a £1m left back. 21 and holds his own in the PL. that he said we were coming in for him 3 weeks ago also suggests it’s a considered and planned move not a desperate player grab for a crisis position with injuries and suspensions.

doubt we’ll get CB. Evans can fill in there too in an emergency esp now we have Bakinson in midfield and Carroll looking sharper again.

I'm still not convinced with our strikers, Nogood, jackass, Bonne and Pigott. To me they are either bang average or poor, would love us to bring in at least one more striker and ship out two of the above!!

Yep. Lots of bald stats don’t usually get the wider but important context, eg player X has got 6 goals ‘that’s crap’ (but he plays with a bunch of no hopers) and would score double with some service from decent team mates etc.

The stat I can’t see lacks a wider context is that Macauley Bonne has missed 11 big chances and is 3rd in that table for L1.

I think we've got enough fire power upfront, for me it's more about the supply chain, so many times we've seen Bonne or Norwood have a quiet game yet not felt its necessarily their fault

It’s about adding quality for me now, not bodies. At this level I’d expect an exceptional forward to be able to make things happen, not wait for it. Those two could not hold their own in the top flight so they can be improved upon.

Looks like Nolan is gone. Contract settled up so that he can find a club as a free agent.

Best for both parties, wages gone for us, Nolan can find a club.

Transfer deadline day. Desperately need a centre back in and a pacey striker would be nice. Jamie Vardy would do.

Been a very underwhelming January so far.

It's gonna be a busy day me thinks, I'm struggling to keep my eyes open as up all night watching my other love, the mighty LA Rams, which finished at 4am but was buzzing so much, i couldn't sleep!! Let's hope i get that feeling with the Town too but unless we make a couple of upgrade signings today.....i think the season may end in disappointment!

Well, quite a clear out today! KM has had time to identify the weaknesses and I suspect he will bring in a surprise or two. Top scoring in-form striker is my preference, the rest he can coach into more consistent form.

Gonna be great to have Morsy and co back.

Bailey Clements has gone out on loan to Stevenage. Thought he was one of those knocking on the door.

Rams vs Bengals Super Bowl. As a long suffering Bengals supporter (this season aside, we’ve been about as bad as Ipswich for the last several years), I really, really, really hope you have a terrible Super Bowl experience, Spanish! <cheers>

Up until 2018, the Rams had about 15 years of absolute misery, things looking up last few years, great business for us going all in and bringing in OBJ, Von Miller and Matthew Stafford. You have a great young QB in JB but think 99 and the rest of our d line will really get to him. Look forward to 2 weeks time and beating you at the Rams house.....what a stadium Sofi is by the way!!
