I'd say Gooch needs a move. Whether it's permanent or a loan, he looks stale. I love the daft wee radgie but something's not working for him at the moment

I agree with both of your statements. If we don't get the CM in, then we may need to go with Evans and Winchester to shore things up, with Pritchard ahead of them. On current form, Pritchard would be my choice ahead of Neil.
I think he's gone backwards since last season. I don't suppose being used all over the pitch especially in 1 game would've helped matters
Gooch's situation is so similar to Hume's. Both of them just look like they need to prove themselves elsewhere. Neither had a loan move did they? They've only ever played for us. They need to both go and play and prove their worth. Both got talent but both gone stale. Best for all parties.

And Gateshead. I agree with the sentiment of the post though. Think he needs a fresh challenge for the sake of his career. Cracking lad and loves the club, but needs to go and smash it elsewhere. He's really stagnated here and never really pushed on.
Gooch spent time at Doncaster when we were in the Prem, may have been a season loan and he done quite well I believe. I also believe they played him up front a fair bit as well.
