I know this was about 5-6 years ago now, but I still remember when he burst onto the scene. He looked like the next best thing. Incredible eye for goal, technically gifted and played with real gusto. His 16/17 season was spectacular, as well. It's just insane how rapidly his career has declined at such a young age. He's only 25/26. Maybe a change of scenery is what he needs to jumpstart it, but damn. He fell off hard.
Levy will have all sorts of clauses on any deal like this. If he recaptures any sort of form we will get add ons and probably a large % of a future sale.

I think it's good that we have decided to just get failing players out rather than keep them cos we ain't got a high enough figure. £10m for Dele could be a bargain for them but he has done nothing here so I am glad he's gone. Ditto for Ndombele. Hopefully the club will confirm lo celso and gil too.
He had immense off the ball ability in terms of finding space, as well as a swagger about him that really made fans love him but he massively utilised and benefited from the brilliance of Eriksen (and Dembele). Once Dembele and Eriksen declined and left, it felt somewhat game over for Dele. I hope he can find some form with Everton but equally I wouldn't be surprised if he struggles.
So it was...losing most of the last couple of years has ****ed any point of reference that I might have had. Feeling any better?
And the rest of the team. I can't stand the direction that we appear to be going in. We've decided to try and go toe-to-toe with the other ****bag teams around us. It won't work. Being hard to beat, grinding out results through workrate and being a bit Italian or Portuguese.
