The lack of activity is so disappointing especiallly as we are so depleted. We haven't got a usable striker We lack a proper No.10 Our central midfield is weak God knows how we'll cope should Raphinha pick up Covid on his world travels or suffer an injury. No back-up for Meslier whatsoever! I suppose as fans we just have to accept this is how it is with LUFC, also we've been in far worse plights than we're in now Count ourselves lucky we are still have points in the bag on five teams below us & we are within three points of five clubs above us. Eight more points & we'll remain in the Premier League. Still truly believe Norwich, Watford, Burnley, Everton, Brentford & Newcastle are worse than Leeds & the Saints, Palace are not much better.
He's prolific, those Burnley bruisers will be bombing the ball onto the giant's head. Glad we don't have face them again this season.
Seems a good signing to me and would be better than what we have. Oh hang on we only sign someone better than what we have...... But he is... Over to you spin doctor Kinear.
Good afternoon Just been reading up on the Burnley signing Wout Weghorst, and watching some stuff on youtube, , scores a hell of a lot of goals an incredible one in almost two ratio and not just with his head, but I can see why we would not want him, as his only talent is scoring lots of goals, so not something we require atm.
why did we not go for van de beek on loan.....he chose the toffees over palace, decent player not been used at all by scumsters....oh i know he's a midfield player and we don't need any .........also i agree the big german guy is a snip at 12m i'm sure he would have chose bielsa over the flintstone
It's really just a lottery Dirty although one of my sons had the PC on, his phone and my tablet, there were five others who were in the queue and whoever had the least time to wait was the person who booked the tickets.
His wages probably had something to do with it, which is why Palace turned him down even though he was recommended to Vieira by Bergkamp. A lot of money to shell out for a loan till the end of the season with no buy option. Glad we didn’t get him. Donny van de Beek is undergoing a medical at Everton ahead of a loan move from Manchester United, with the Toffees set to pay his £100,000-per-week wages in FULL to make him Frank Lampard's first signing. Donny van de Beek's loan move to Everton has moved closer to completion after undergoing a medical in Liverpool.
Police have been granted more time to question Manchester United footballer Mason Greenwood who was arrested on suspicion of rape and assault. Just following the old traditions of MU.
It is Shako, although this is the first time I've not been able to get tickets (a few times only got 'em by the skin of me teeth mind !). I've been scuppered a couple of time this season by Sunday engineering works on the line up to Leeds so this time me and my lad said we'd do whatever it takes to get there. This time no problem on the trains (and reasonable price - relatively speaking) but no match tickets. I'll keep a look out on the resale but don't hold out much hope. Train would probably be sold out by then anyway. Ah well, on to Spurs !!!
Fair play to you Dirty, hope you get those Spurs tickets. The problem for us Irish is that we have to pay for flights and then gamble on getting tickets.
