17th is a success, no doubt about it. Anything above is a bonus, but just staying up is all we need. Just hoping Woy doesn't do much with Watford, he's got a good record of transforming teams, but their team is pretty horrendous, so he has his work cut out
If that's true I would imagine Barca will be flapping....surely they can't sign PEA if Dembele is still on their books?
The days of selling Andy Carroll for £35m and replacing him with Shefki Kuqi appear to be a thing of the past...
There's still half a season left, but it's of course not easy.. There's not one easy game in this league.
Thats the problem though, Woy ****s up at the big clubs like Liverpool and the England job. The struggling teams like Fulham, West Brom and Palace, he did a good job with. If Watford had gone for Melty Face Arry or Fat Sam then I wouldn't have been worried.
I'm not concerned I think the side we had was as good if not better than at the 4 clubs now we've got better players. These clubs can't compete with nufc now..
And these same people would point and laugh if our Jan transfer window signings turn out to be an unmitigated disaster! Ha ha, look at the mags spunking £100m trying to buy their way out of trouble and failing....yada yada yada! Can't have it both ways I'm afraid. Salty as ****!!!
No we're not. Not yet. We need to earn that on the pitch. We can't earn it at the bank or in the transfer market - they just help us (hopefully) to earn it on the pitch.
