Quite a bit, its kind of ****ed up. If I have this correct FFP is worked out like this - Bruno signed for £40m he is on a 4 and a half year deal so we spent £10m of this years FFP on him. However it works the opposite on player sales - If we sell players on the drip we get the full allocation straight away.

 

Someone on Twitter reckons Boro are preparing a double deal for Irish duo Clark and Hendrick.

That goes through and we win deadline day hands down

 

No idea how it works myself as we've never had to think about it before!!

 

I think that would work with UEFA as an argument to be fair

Good summary of it here. Think we might be blowing most of our 3 year allowance in this window but that multibillion sponsorship deal with Saudi Aramco and the renaming of the stadium to the Saudi Airlines Great Mosque should allow us to keep spending in the future.

 

I know wages get taken into account too, so they need adding on.

Actually, with the exception of Leeds, every rival has incomings - whether that be manager, players or both - which could give them a lift. Getting out of this isn't going to be as straightforward as just throwing money at it!
